How to Configure MJDownloader and Obtain Token & Client ID
This guide will walk you through the steps to configure the MJDownloader Bot. You'll learn how to create a new bot on Discord's developer portal and obtain the necessary Token and Client ID.
Click on the "New Application" button on the top-right corner.
Step 3: Create a New Application
A dialog box will appear asking for the name of your new application (ie. MJDownloader). Enter a name and click "Create".
Step 4: Obtain Client ID
On the left, click OAuth2. Here, you'll find your Client ID. Copy this ID for later use.
Step 5: Obtain Bot Token
In the left sidebar, click on "Bot".
Click "Copy" to copy your bot Token. Keep this token secure and do not share it with anyone
Click "Reset Token" if there is no token displayed to generate a new token.
You should now have both your Client ID and Bot Token.
Step 6: Bot Settings
Uncheck "Public Bot".
Bot Intents. Set the intents for the bot as follows:

Run the MJDownloader installer.
You'll find a field to enter your Discord Bot Token. Paste your client id and Discord Bot Token in the appropriate fields
Choose your starting setting options.
Run the MJDownloader Application.
Click on the 'Invite Bot' button within the application to add the bot to your selected Discord server via drop down on the browser window that opens.
Click "Select Channels" and choose channel(s) for the bot to monitor.
Choose save location with "Select" button under "Output Directory".
The bot must be relaunched when changed for the bot to accurately reflect the change and save in the new location.
Use "Start Bot" to initiate the bot to monitor and run.
To stop bot, exit the application entirely.
And there you have it! You've successfully created a Discord bot and invited it to your discord server. You can now proceed to use these in MJDownloader to enjoy its features.
Remember to keep your Bot Token secure and never share it with anyone. If you believe it has been compromised, you can regenerate it in the Bot section of the Discord Developer Portal.
